国科技术贸易开发集团（简称国科技贸集团）始于1993年7月1日，前身是由国防科工委综合计划部技术基础局发起联合组建，并汇聚中国工程物理研究院、国防科技成果办公室以及兵器工业、航空工业、航天工业、船舶工业、电子工业、核工业八大军工集团共同注资的北京国科技贸公司。作为一家军工企业，北京国科技贸公司自成立之初便肩负着整合军工资源、促进国防科技成果转化的重要使命，经过多年发展，于2024年完成企业合并重组 ，以现代化集团公司治理模式焕发新活力，持续巩固在国防科技领域的领先地位。
